The MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) has released the last batch of nominees showcasing Africa’s best top music acts. The highly acclaimed music award show will take place in Kampala, Uganda this year.
The nominations feature some of Kenya’s best music talents across different categories. In this batch, musicians Khaligraph Jones, Ethic Entertainment, Nadia Mukami and Sauti Sol will be representing Kenya to the fullest.
Rapper Khaliraph Jones has been nominated in the category of Best Hip Hop and will be locking horns with other 5 rappers from the continent. The list is as follows;

In another category for Best Group, celebrated band Sauti Sol and Gengetone Group Ethic Entertainment will be looking forward to bring the trophy home. The full list is as follows;

Kenya’s Popstar, Nadia Mukami is the only female musicians from Kenya, nominated in the category of Best Fan-Base Award. She is also the only female nominee in the category that features some of Africa’s music bigwigs. Below is the full list;

Through her Instagram page, Nadia urged her fans to vote for her and help bring the award home. Also, she thanked her fanbase for their support and promised more music in the year 2021.
