Arsenal’s left-back defender Kieran Tierney’s star continues to rise in yet another good display from Scotland international as they thrashed West Brom on the road.

The gunners once again produced a wonderful play for the third consecutive time this season putting 4 goals versus Sam Allardyce team to kickstart their year on a positive note.

Yet, it was their youngster left-back defender Kieran Tierney that impressed most, earning himself the man of the match (MOM) award after the game.

Tierney scored the opener in the first half of the game from a nice cross from fellow defender Rob Holding before assisting Alexandre Lacazette’s second and final goal of the game.

In stats released by Opta Sports data after the game, No defender has created more chances in the league than Tierney since the start of December 2020.

In this season alone, Tierney has played 16 matches (1521 minutes) scored only once and assisted only once.

This was Arsenal’s 7th win of the season in what looks like a comeback from their recent bad form. They have scored 8 goals and conceded only once in their last three matches.
